How to hide an entire topic on Mumsnet?

You can only do it via the website (not in app or mobile) I've done it but can't remember exactly how. Look in settings, if I did it, it can't be hard

I think if you’re using the mobile site, if you change it to desktop by scrolling all the way to the bottom, and then look for the settings page you can do it. Then you change back to mobile view.

There’s a thread in site stuff at the moment, one of two I think that have asked for a separate CV topic. It has a link to how to do it but it has to be on website, not app or mobile.

I've done it, I think. Used the desktop site. You have to have the talk page open then click on the small down arrow next to the word Talk in large font at the top of the page (not in the blue bar). Then choose customise, then scroll down to "manage hidden topics and threads". Then search through an enormous list, which includes hundreds of local talk topics for some reason, find the offending topic, then click on "move selected to hidden". A very long-winded process!!
