My dad had a turn today he is having scans then in intensive care.

I love my dad I'm such a daddy's girl. Its horrible so horrible

I'm very sorry to hear this. I'm a daddy's girl also and very much empathise.
Is there someone with you?? Is he conscious in ICU or has he been ventilated?

He has been ventilated due to being agitated.

My mum and brothers are here trying to keep the side up.

Seeing my dad so upset and helpless is horrible.

I hope and pray for the best for tonight and tomorrow

Seeing a parent helpless is the absolute worst feeling in the world. I'll say a prayer for your dad and hope he settles overnight. I hope the scans turn out OK.

I have been in a similar situation recently and can completely empathise. What I can say is having your family around you for support is everything and you often find you have an inner emotional strength you did not realise you had. All my thoughts are with you and your family .

Sat in relatives room in intensive care ward.

Waiting for morning to do more tests and repeat the other ones from today.

My dad has been very poorly in hospital for the last six months so I understand where you're coming from
