Help me choose my car colour

I’m planning on signing up for an electric car on a lease deal, have settled on the Peugeot e2008 which is out in a couple of months. Won’t be to everyone’s taste, but I can get a really good deal. Have decided on spec etc, but we can’t agree on colour! I’ve always bought older cars before so never had the chance to choose before. So - orange, blue or red?

Love the orange, blue and red are a bit boring.
Sounds silly but when I was buying my fiesta, red was the basic colour you didnt pay extra for so now when I see red cars I always think they are cheap! Well, unless it's a Ferrari ;)

AuntyMcAoife · 02/03/2020 19:37

I really like them all!!

If I had to pick I'd go for Orange.

LadyMadderRose · 02/03/2020 19:52

Orange! The other two are boooooring :)

nitgel · 02/03/2020 19:53

Orange

Mummyshark2018 · 02/03/2020 19:55

Blue. Would be nice in white too

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 02/03/2020 19:55

Red. Red vehicles go faster as any fule kno.

ParkheadParadise · 02/03/2020 19:58

Red

mencken · 02/03/2020 20:04

see quite a lot of that ghastly orange about and what an eyesore. Blue seems a bit rarer so easier to find in the car park. Red is very visible, no bad thing with so many people on their phones.

been reading the reviews (I will never be in a position to buy a new car, let alone an electric one so pure armchair stuff). Doesn't seem too bad for interior space and boot space, looks bloody awful but all modern jelly moulds do, and dashboard has loads to go wrong. I hope the rear visibility is better than it appears. Of course as a new car no information on overall reliability so fingers crossed for you.

happy motoring!

Red

@mencken why piss on OPs cornflakes? She didn't ask if she should get it she asked what colour she should get. This first paragraph of your monologue was all that was required.

Carrie7469 · 02/03/2020 20:12

Orange

Redcrayons · 02/03/2020 20:13

Blue.

Leah2005 · 02/03/2020 20:14

Msrinky - don't know how to embolden that - because all the nee nahs are red and I prefer a change.

missmouse101 · 02/03/2020 20:18

Orange is great but I do like the blue too.

UnitedRoad · 02/03/2020 20:24

Orange. It’s beautiful

AlwaysCheddar · 02/03/2020 20:28

Not orange.

Longdistance · 02/03/2020 20:28

The blue suits the style of car it is, if you get what I mean. My car suits white, but looks awful in grey and red.

TeensArghhhh · 02/03/2020 20:30

Blue

Mimx · 02/03/2020 20:40

Thanks all, I’m not sure there’s a consensus emerging! Though DS will be pleased that there are some orange fans.

I don’t mind about the PP flagging doubts, I’ve no doubt seen the same reviews - reliability etc won’t make much difference to me as all maintenance and servicing will be included in the lease cost. And it’s an SUV, it will always polarise on the styling.

Red! I've just ordered my new car too..... in you guessed it.... Red!

Mimx · 02/03/2020 20:45

I love a red car. It was the most popular colour it seemed when I was growing up and then suddenly there were hardly any. My car comes in grey, white and black too, but I want a colour.

EraOfTheGrey · 02/03/2020 20:52

Orange.

I've had an orange car and it was really easy to find in car parks. Loved that car.

BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 02/03/2020 20:53

Poppins2016 · 02/03/2020 20:55
