I know there is multiple threads on this and I apologise in advance.

I haven't been worried about it, but having two daughters that have chronic asthma and one in secondary school where her pals have all just returned from a ski trip to Italy, I'm just wondering if i should be worried?

I'm not generally concerned about these things and I do worry about the flu with them constantly but they have their flu jags, just wondering if it's more scaremongering going on or if I should be actually worried? They are good with hygiene, and hand washing but my eldest who is in third year says there is no soap and the dispensers are always empty? I know that's something I can take up with the school but just want a general opinion

I'm in the same area asthe confirmed case, and my kids mentioned tonight about the school toilets not having hand-wash. I've given them all a bottle to carry around, plus hand gel. I have an asthmatic DS so I'm a bit concerned and I've had a very serious case of pneumonia (almost killed me), so I'm worried for myself, too. I'd quite like to isolate my whole family, but I do realise I'm overreacting!

Sparklli, I get where you are coming from about overreacting and I'm not one to usually bother in these situations, but when you have kids that are more at risk it becomes a wee bit more scary doesn't it
