Anyone got any idea what my daughter might be talking about?
I asked her what she wanted for her 7th birthday and she has gone on and on about something she’s seen on an advert on TV. I have googled but her description is sufficiently vague that I’m having no luck and as yet the advert hasn’t come on at a point when she can show me.
So in the vague hope that this might ring bells....

It is an art set where you have a picture, and a pen (a special pen, possibly?). You dab the pen onto a particular part of the picture. (Like the unicorn horn Mummy, can you see, do you know about where a unicorn horn is?) and it fills that space with the colour, without you having to go to all the effort of, you know, actually colouring. She’s adamant the picture is on a piece of paper but it can’t be, so it must be a screen or something that looks sufficiently paper-like to a six year old.
Any ideas at all, anyone?

It sounds like it could be diamond art. It's a bit like paint by numbers except you have coloured beads and a chart instead of the paint. The special pen is dipped into wax and that's then used to pick up the beads and place the one by one on a sticky canvas.

I have a few of these on the go at home and the dds like doing them too. I've never seen them advertised on telly though but you can get them on Ebay or Amazon for a few pounds
