What would you name a mending/alterations service

I’m a self employed seamstress but until my toddler starts nursery I’m having to take on much smaller work as I don’t have the time or space for making garments at the moment, I want to advertise it as a service separate to the clothes I make but need to think of some kind of name to use!

I do mending (patching/darning etc) and minor alterations (taking up hems etc). Focusing on the sustainability side of it. Puns are welcome but nothing too cheesy Grin

There's a place near min called Theresa's Threads- perhaps you can do a similar mix?

Sally's stitching
Annie's alterations
Etc

Seams to me

From other posts on MN, you perhaps should think about offering a badge sewing on service for those with DC in Brownies/Cubs/Guides/Scouts etc!

Definitely advertise for badge sewing, I hate it and happily pay £1.50 per badge at my local dry cleaner,

Name wise
One stitch at a time
Thread and Needle
Sew for you

TheJoxter · 29/02/2020 18:31

Thanks all! The local fabric shop is called Sew and So so I can’t use anything too similar to that. I’m liking a lot of these suggestions Smile
