Help , cat has wee’d on my mattress

Our cat is a bugger, any chance and she’s up the stairs to wee on a bed. I’ve lost count of how many duvets I’ve thrown out. We normally keep our bedroom doors shut, but every now and then she charges upstairs before we can catch her. I thought mine was shut this evening , obviously not . I had my duvet folded back to let my bed air a bit and she’s wee’d on it . One pillow is ruined, so is the duvet and my mattress is soaked. She’s got a litter tray , so why she chooses the beds I’ve no idea . I really can’t afford a new mattress, how can I get the smell out ?

Persil bio. Make a paste using water and lather on the area. Leave over night and repeat. Clean off using water and hoover the area.

My cat had a water infection and peed on my new cloth sofa. Removed the smell completely

Simple solution! Cant rate that stuff enough

Our cat wee'ed on the duvet once. Left a big puddle. Soaking the duvet in the bath sorted it out.

New mattress and waterproof mattress protector.
There's no way I'd sleep on a mattress after cat piss got into it.
Also, take your cat to the vet for some advice and to rule out a medical cause. Maybe post in the litter tray section too.

Mattresses aren't free unfortunately and I have changed the bedding twice a week since cat peed on it twice, unfortunately it still stinks, I will buy a new one in January but right now helping santa with with my kids Christmas comes first. We're not all rich and we have to budget
