Mooncup or similar, recommendations, please

Hiya. In a bid to be more eco-friendly and less wasteful, I’d like to try a mooncup or a similar product, but there are so many to choose from, and they’re not cheap, so I’d like to go with a recommendation and hopefully get the choice right first time. For info: I’m 45, have had 4 big babies (over 9 lbs), all vaginal delivery, tend to have a couple of days of spotting, heavy flow day, light flow day, finishing off with another couple of days of spotting. Not sure all that info is relevant, but hey, can’t hurt. 🥴 Many thanks

Try the 'put a cup in it' website, theres a quiz that recommends a few based on different things.

Mooncup is really great, I've used one for years. I used to very occasionally very slightly leak on my heavy days, so you may need a pad on the heavy day. Hasn't happened for a while so maybe it was my technique!

I used a mooncup for years then lost it. I tried to replace it with a cheaper option (still about a tenner from boots) and it was no where near as good. Was over the moon when I found my mooncup again.

I learnt a lot of useful info from the Precious Stars Pads YouTube channel. She does reviews on a lot of the cups on the market and tips on how to insert them and look after them.

I use a "rainbow" cup. I bought it from amazon for about a tenner 7 years ago; i love it. I am 40, have had two children one of whom was 9+lbs (info for comparison purposes!)
