Does anyone remember a book character called Thursday?

Not Endeavour!
Everytime I hear his name I get this vague memory of a character called Thursday from a children’s book. Nothing else, no other memory/clue but it feels like a favourite character. A girl.
I read loads of Enid Blyton, so could be that type of book. 70’s.
Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Oh my god. It was The Put Em Rights. Thank you so much! I'm over the moon!

Me too, Isabellaswann. I had a crush on Abe!

Oh thank you everyone who has reminded me about See You Thursday. I read it at 11 and love it - and have wondered for years what it was!

Michael Bond wrote a series of books about a little mouse called Thursday.

Magic faraway tree?

It could be Noel Streatfeild
I did read Ballet shoes and I had a tendency to then read everything by The same author.
But it’s not jumping out at me. I feel like I’d remember it instantly
The circus rings a bell and I’ve just remembered Mr Galliano’s circus, it was a character like Lotta, or the Naughtiest girl in the school. Gypsy caravan
I don’t remember the Put Em Rights. Remember the Find Outers?

It sounds familiar to me too. It's not Noel Streatfield I'm thinking of, she was actually called Thursday, and iirc there was an explanation for why she'd been given it as a first name.

Yes a Jasper Fforde character!

Might dig out those books again, cheers OP

Loved the Five Find Outers too!

Mr. Galliano’s circus! Haven't thought of that in years!

I recall the book as a younger child's book. This of course might be a complete false memory!!

I know this is an old thread but I wandered on this due to a Google search for the same thing. It is not Thursday's Child. In the book i recall (also read in the 70s), the girl's FIRST name was Thursday. That's why I remember it so well, because her name was so unusual!
