Our choral society can claim gift aid for members subscriptions. We have been given a form which offers 2 choices- subscribe to the gift aid scheme or tick a box saying 'I am not a UK taxpayer'. By ticking the latter I am admitting that I do not earn enough to pay tax. Is this an invasion of my privacy? Why should I let everyone know I am poor? What do other Mumsnetters think?
