London Recommendations?

Off to London this weekend, arriving lunchtime Friday and leaving teatime on Sunday. Our Saturday is sorted (brunch, matinee of Dear Evan Hansen and have a table booked for steak in the evening) but the rest of our weekend is unplanned!

Any must see/do's? We have done the stereotypical touristy things before but still definitely London novices coming from the North of Scotland Grin

Any nice but reasonably priced restaurants for Friday evening? (That won't be fully booked this short notice!)

We are staying in Covent Garden but happy to use the Underground

There’s a spectacular light festival at Chiswick House and Gardens, but it’s probably too far out for you.
There’s a beer festival called Brew LDNat The Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane on Friday. Brick Lane is a really good place to browse. If you decide to go there, I’d definitely recommend eating at Aladin.
There’s also a film themed statue trail in Leicester Square
Wahaca is a tried and tested favourite for low-cost dining. Ping Pong is another affordable option and I know that they had a bottomless dumpling deal on Sundays. Honest Burger is always good value for money too there’s a Peruvian restaurant called Lima which is worth trying sometime.

It's pricey, but the Tutankhamen exhibition is quite something.

I take it you've been to the tower of London already?
