Which reusable travel cup?

I want to buy a reasonable travel cup for the occasions when I get a takeaway tea, but I’m not sure which would be best. I’m not too worried about the cost, but I would like to get it right first time.

I would like it to replicate the takeaway cup experience, rather than being a flask, so it doesn’t need to be particularly leakproof nor keep my tea hot for ages (I drink my tea quickly as I like it hot). I don’t like drinking through a hole, so I always remove the lid to drink, so it’s like a normal mug. I would like a cup with an easy to remove lid, so I don’t have to tug too hard and end up with hot tea everywhere. It needs to be at least 340ml.

Any recommendations?

I gave all the adults in my family one of these collapsible mugs for Christmas. They squash down enough to go in a coat pocket Smile

I never get hot drinks out, so I can’t answer about lid removal, but will ask

I wouldn't trust a Stojo with the lid off. I have seversl Brew KeepCups.

I’ve been looking at KeepCups hoghgyni but one review I saw mentioned difficulty in removing the lid. Do you have any problems with yours?

I have a BioGo rice husk cup. Like the environmental credentials but most of all like the fact it has a tiny handle on the top! Most useful when also carrying armfuls of files to the car! Screw top so no pulling too enthusiastically and spilling!

I've had a practice with the tiny Star Wars BB-8 KeepCup on my desk at the moment. No problem. I think the glass Brew Cup really depends on how coldvitbus outside, as it lives in my car.

Coldvitbus = cold it is

Following with interest!

I have a keepcup bit I'm not mad about the plasticy smell and the swivel bit on the lid but comes off sometimes. I'm trying to be careful with my next purchase as buying multiple reusable cups seems counterproductive!

I did have a favorite ceramic one I got
In TK MAXX, but I broke it unfortunately. It was a great car cup but no use for commuting on buses/trains... too heavy.

Thanks everyone
