So .. slightly ashamed of myself but I've got quite hooked on this carcrash of a tv show. I found the initial concept quite interesting!

But recently all I can think when watching the show is holy fuck Damian is a gaslighting abusive arsehole! Yet.. when I google online there is only one reddit thread where someone agrees with me, with the rest of the internet thinking it's GiGi that's abusive because she gets crazy and yells.

But every single one of Damian's interactions has given me the absolute cringe. I consider his gaslighting abuse to be clear as day to me. Does anyone else watch the show and see this or is it mostly just in my head?

I just see G as being completely over the top and an actress.

I think she is nuts. I felt quite sorry for him a lot of the time.

They just seem completely mismatched and stuck in an emotional situation where they can't split up it appears until at the wedding altar.
So a very unreal situation.
So I don't think he is gaslighting just he is stuck with a volatile woman and can't really escape and it's all being filmed.
I mean her telling him he isn't the best she had is so rude. And she is constantly on her phone where as he gets shouted at for spending a few seconds turning his music off to chat after doing gym work outs.

That woman is off her rocker, I hope he runs for the hills. 😳

All episodes are done so be careful there are no spoilers posted. She was extremely volatile, admitted to being a self sabotager and deliberately tested and pushed him. The only person I also found really dreadful was Jessica who was very manipulative. It was a car crash of a show but fascinating and I’m not a fan of reality tv.

Yes she's a shouty, emotional mess and quite immature but that's her age I think. He also knew that about her.

Kenny and Kelly are the strongest couple I think.

I’ve just done a marathon amount of ironing while watching the reunion episodes. My goodness, came online to see if any action has been taken against Damien for his abuse toward Gi, it’s terrible! Gaslighting, both girls. Francesca called it out and walked, good for her. Shame Gigi can’t walk away. He is one warped weirdo!
