Is it worth upgrading an electric with brush

I already use an electric toothbrush. My current brush vibrates if I brush too hard and after 30 seconds. I notice a lot of them now have sophisticated brushes with different brush heads. I need all the help I can get as teeth are crowded not fixable by braces. Otoh I don’t want to waste money/resources for environment.

If there any dentists or hygienists I’d welcome your views.

If anyone has upgraded to a more advanced one have you noticed the difference?

Hygienist here. You don't need anything fancy, just a small round head that oscillates and brush twice a day. Also good to clean between the teeth with floss or interdental brushes, especially if youre crowded.

Thanks @LadySlipper11 I do try to remember to floss, though admit I’m not great at it. Good to know I don’t need to buy a new brush.
