Anyone giving anything up for lent? I still haven’t 100% decided so better decide quick!

Alcohol and smoking.

Of course I don't actually drink booze or smoke so I reckon I might just manage it.

Chocolate. Nothing to do with the religious aspect for me, just a little incentive and challenge to lose a couple of lbs!
Did dry January too (only had a drink on valentines night since then though) and didn’t find that at all tricky but I think no chocolate will be a real challenge for me. I like chocolate a lot!

I give up giving up. I try and take on new challenges and make sure I complete them.

Catholic here. The idea is to pray (more), fast and give (almsgiving). I have printed off little ideas for all three categories and they're in a jar. Each day my little girl and I can pick one out.

I'm going to diet

managedmis · 26/02/2020 00:28

Wine? At least till the weekend

I've given up chocolate, biscuits, sweets ect. All going smoothly. Been given chocolate for Mother's Day. Tempted to throw in towel for the one day
