Hi I'm looking for some advice re a parking ticket I've received from Gemini parking . I parked in local shopping centre and went to pay my 50p when an other driver give me his parking ticket .
I didn't realise these had registration numbers on them and I've now been sent a letter showing my car and asking for £60 if paid within 14 days or £100 if after that .
Are these legal and what would happen if I didn't pay?

Pay the £60. If you don’t charges will escalate dramatically. Presuming there are signs and instructions dotted about the car park and machines I don’t think you can contest it.

Pay it. You have no good appeal excuse.

Someone will come on and say they ignored it and nothing happened, non enforceable etc But these companies know what they are doing and the charge will increase each time they contact you. You'll end up in a couple of months posting a thread about how you've got a CCJ for £700 for a parking ticket etc etc
