Could someone measure a cravat for me please? I think my pattern is wrong

I have a neck/narrow bit of 24Cms and a total length of 1m

And DH thinks it looks small £

Any ideas?

Yes that confirms my googling - I have gone for about 10 inches wide and the central/narrow part 50cms

It's really hard - my pattern is 90cms, 6 inches wide and 24cms narrow bit - so frustrating
