Where I live in the north east we are never too badly off for flooding in my neck of the woods but I drove down to N Yorks today where we crossed near the river swale and the river ure and the area was severely flooded.
I was driving so I couldn’t rubber neck too much but I couldn’t see much in the way of housing, so hopefully that was the flood plain.
I know the Calder valley and York have had it really bad again. It must be so worrying .
We’ve had terrific windstorms and some rain obviously but not as much as some areas.
More rain is forecast for next week ☹️
I’ve had enough of winter now.
