I've had swelling in just my right calf for a week. I went to the doctor's last Monday, and had a blood test for DVT which came back clear. The swelling has not gone away, infact it is slightly worse. I can still wear my jeans but they are tight on the right calf but loosish on the left (not skinny jeans).
Has anyone had this? It's worrying me mainly because it's only one leg. The skin isn't red or dimpled, skin looks normal, my lower leg is just bigger. It hurts slightly to bend my ankle and knee but not much, discomfort not pain really.
I'm googling myself into believing that I have heart failure or something equally fatal - I have pre teen and teen children and am only in my 40s. I am overweight but don't smoke. I do drink, probably around 14-16 units per week.
