No sleep for me - anyone else?

There aren't any babies, snoring DH, worries etc keeping me awake.

I accidentally fell asleep with the heating on full blast so am feeling groggy and drinking tea

I've just got up to watch the boxing, DH still asleep but I'll wake him when it comes on

maldivemoment · 23/02/2020 04:25

Thank you Lost. Hope the flight not delayed for too long. 🙏
Sweet dreams for you when sleep calls.

Rather you than me Tokyo, I think he's odious, hopefully he'll get beaten.

I’d love to be getting up for a flight right now. I love the excitement of an early morning airport taxi. Sadly all I’ve got to get excited about is a massive pile of laundry. I suppose I could crack on but I don’t want to disturb my cats.

I am awake still as have crappy tinnitus, and can never get to sleep.. but just listening to some music on you tube. but its, good and bad,, the good is that my three lovely cats are asleep on the end of my bed ha ha,

GaaaaarlicBread · 23/02/2020 04:32

Me neither - currently suffering from a bad nosebleed and every time I try to get back to sleep it starts again !

lostinleaves · 23/02/2020 04:34

That's cute about the cats 🐈 our pets aren't the sort that could sleep on the bed, dbros tarantula is here now and it can do one if it thinks it's getting within a mile of my bed.

Ostanovka · 23/02/2020 04:36

I'm sleeping really badly at the moment. It's never occurred to me to go and get a cup of tea! I'm a bit scared to though, it's dark downstairs!

maldivemoment · 23/02/2020 04:45

Oh ffs, well that never worked! Still awake. 😡

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 23/02/2020 04:46

I’m awake. 34 weeks pregnant. Apparently I only sleep for 5 hours now 🤷‍♀️ Used to be a straight 9 hours easily. Just pondering what I can do without waking DH. Guess I will be shattered come 1pm as usual.

NC4Now · 23/02/2020 04:54

Lol lostinleaves. I don’t much fancy curling up with a tarantula. My cats are funny. They come and tell me it’s bed time at 11pm, and if I don’t go up they start being really naughty 😂

mogloveseggs · 23/02/2020 05:11

Morning!
Been awake about an hour
Dd travelling home from school trip and I think it's that keeping me awake
I'm at work today though
Could really do with a brew but should try to get a couple more hours kip

Tiredandold1 · 23/02/2020 05:11

DD (similarly jet lagged) has now made an appearance so any chance of sleep is out. Time to hit the Duplo before embarking on the holiday washing 😬

user764329056 · 23/02/2020 05:35

Am listening to fight on Talk Sport, been sitting on my hands so I don’t press the Box Office purchase at 25 quid! Come on Tyson!

TokyoSushi · 23/02/2020 05:54

Totally worth the £25 @User - it was fab! Right, back to bed, night all!

FeeFee832 · 23/02/2020 06:10

Baby won't sleep 😩

chocolateisavegetable · 23/02/2020 11:32

I haven't been sleeping well for ages. Sometimes Nytol helps, sometimes it doesn't. I'm now thinking it could be due to the perimenopause.
