How does your DC's school deal with bullying

DS is having some issues with a boy in his class. Had similar last year (P1) with the same boy and the same boy and the headteacher dealt with it very well and very subtly (no punishments just talking to them both).

I am due to speak with her again next week. Obviously it was dealt with well last time but didn't prevent it from happening again.

I don't want to label a 6 year old a bully but it is very subtle mind game type things this boy is doing (along with threats). My son has admitted he isn't happy at all just now and it is affecting our entire home life. I just need it to stop.

So please tell me how your school has effectively dealt with bullies or what I could/should expect given that the children involved are so young.

I will move him school if need be, have been considering a move of area anyway, but that would really be a last resort.

By ignoring my calls, saying it is a "friendship issue" and calling dd1 in to see the headteacher who told her off for telling me about it at home rather than telling her teacher.

In the end I sorted it with the other girl's mum, who was luckily very reasonable.
