We have finally finished another stop motion train video....stop motion lovers and wooden train lovers unite!

Ok so people seemed to like these videos when I posted them before. My husband and I make stop motion videos using our son's wooden train set. We try to make them slower paced, with no narration and so less irritating than the usual children's vidoes on YouTube!

The new video is for anyone interested!

Hope you enjoy them!

I enjoyed that. Thank you for making it Smile

Bakedpotatoandgin · 22/02/2020 15:47

That was lovely, thank you!

PawPatrolMakesMeDrink · 22/02/2020 15:52

My two year old train obsessed son LOVED that. Thank you!

ICouldHaveBeenAContender · 22/02/2020 16:32

Excellent!

Slugslasher · 22/02/2020 17:19

Gorgeous!

Rubberduckies · 22/02/2020 19:05

Ah thanks everyone, I'm glad you liked them! We make them for our nephew (and our son when he's old enough) but wanted to share with other parents who might be also getting a bit fed up with their child's current favourite videos!

I see you have one of the IKEA low bridges there. We avoided them. Makes for a good story though.

iHateJanuary2020 · 22/02/2020 20:10

Absolutely lovely. Dd, massive Thomas fan at one time, loved it too. She's 15 😀

Rubberduckies · 22/02/2020 20:45

@BlackeyedSusan Yes it came with a big bundle we bought. It is such a shame they made them so small - hardly anything fits! Luckily, in our 'train room', we have several different bridges from various different brands and so when our son is old enough to actually want to play with them we can match the right bridge to the right engines haha!

@iHateJanuary2020 Never too old for trains! My Dad sent me a video of my 82yr old grandma giggling at one of our videos....I think older children/teenagers/adults sometimes enjoy the subtleties more too. We had a replacement bus service in one video which my Mum found hilarious.

Sweet!

QueenArseClangers · 23/02/2020 00:25

Loved it! That couple in the boat are definitely having an affair. Watch out for a thread entitled ‘AIBU to think my 1cm tall husband is having an affair with a work colleague cos he keeps coming home with duck food in his pocket and lipstick on his collar?’

Super cute.

PixieRabbit · 23/02/2020 00:59

Adorable! And very relaxing until all the DISASTERS. Did the train driver survive the bridge collapse?

Also, you need to get your ducks in a row.

hoteltango · 23/02/2020 01:20

Fabulous!

Horsemad · 23/02/2020 09:37

Loved this! ♥️

dillite · 23/02/2020 10:33

That's brilliant. I am in awe of the amount of time that this must have taken and also at the amount of train parts that you have! Well done to both of you.

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 23/02/2020 10:42

Ooh, how lovely! The soundscapes are very well done.

Rockbird · 23/02/2020 10:58

I actually cheered when the old engine saved the day! I'm 48 with no previous interest in trains... Blush

Rubberduckies · 01/03/2020 19:23

Whoops didn't mean to disappear. DS has just started to crawl. Oh. My. CANNOT take eyes off him for one second!

Thanks everyone I'm glad you/your children enjoyed it!

@QueenArseClangers Haha! DH wants them to be a reoccurring couple, having various dates across TRAiN TOWN. He likes how suave the bloke is.... Maybe his wife should turn up at some point!

@dillite We do have a ridiculous amount of train accessories.....Most came from a big bundle on facebook for £50! We had to buy shelves to store it all on neatly....

Awww OP I love these, thank you. Going to show my autistic, train-obsessed DS tomorrow.

Rubberduckies · 01/03/2020 19:50

@outofyourhand I'm glad you liked them! We actually started making them for our autistic nephew (also obsessed with trains). We wanted something that could be played over and over that wasn't too annoying and were struggling to find what we wanted on YouTube. We also found that the videos seem to help him transition back towards his trainset and off the computer! I hope your son likes them - let me know!
