Call 111 or wait and see? Temp not going down.

DS8 is feeling under the weather no obvious pain like ears or throat, no cough. Just feeling rotten.

His temperate was 39 this morning, gave him neurofen and it didn't go down.
Gave calpol and it didn't go down.

He seems a bit happier now he's on them but the temperate hasn't changed.

Shall I wait see how he is tomorrow?

I know a temp not going down is a red flag, but he's not a tiny baby but wondered if I was being too relaxed thinking I could 'wait and see'....

Personally Id see what happens with second round of drugs as he is happier.
No rash either I pressume.

The second round of drugs was over an hour ago and it hasn't gone down.

That's why I'm posting really.

I would call them; if they want to see him it’s better it happens this afternoon than 10pm tonight when you’re panicking

Is he ok in himself? I mean alert and just feeling awful rather than very sleepy.

Yeah he's certainly perked up since the meds have kicked in.

Otherwise I would be calling.

I think I'm going to wait it out.

Ended up in A&E, he got bad quickly, 111 wanted to call an ambulance!

Horrible throat infection and AB's now.

Can't believe how quickly he went from perfectly fine to fighteningly ill and delirious.

Oh goodness, what an outcome.

Hope the drugs do the trick for him now
