Go on, beat this

• skelped the car off a pothole you could lose a bus in (was hidden by a puddle), 2 new tyres
• dropped my phone in the bath
• boiler broke
• sat on my glasses

And the icing on the cake- nits. I have nits.

Some cosmic being is really taking the piss.

I’ve had my worse week in a long time so thanks op gives me a chance to vent.
My mum came at Xmas for a week. She finally went home today as she felt I wasn’t giving her enough attention.
The reason for the lack of attention was I’m just starting 10 weeks of radiotherapy.
My 20 year ds has just caught mumps at uni despite having the MMR. Was coming home for readers week but can’t because of the fact my darling mother informed me she has never given my any of my immunisations 😡
Then got a summons in the post saying I had jumped a red light 1 second after they changed and might be prosecuted
And today my husband informs me that his dad is coming for a few weeks as he has a new bathroom being fitted

might you have mitigating circumstances for the red light? I don't know anything much about that kind of thing though.

Too numerous to mention but the biggest thing for me this week was seeing numerous local media articles about a friend. Yes what she did was wrong but, as usual, the media aren’t reporting the true facts behind it.

Awful awful week.

Monday - dropped in the shit by a colleague who is on annual leave and has left serious problems behind
Tuesday - as above plus a potential prosecution at work for an issue that has gone legal
Wednesday - my Nan died
Thursday - character assassination on me by a colleague
Friday - shell shocked from the rest of it!

Sorry everyone had a shit week. Here's hoping it can only get better!
