What cases are you currently into?

I've been following the disappearance of Gannon Stauch, an 11-year-old from Colorado who was last seen on video leaving his house with his stepmom. Video seemingly shows her returning without him and he has been missing since.

The stepmom has drawn a lot of attention to herself by commenting about the case on social media under her own account and multiple sock accounts, giving a where she refused to show her face, releasing a about some sort of carpet accident the night before he went missing, and then releasing a prepared statement were she carefully explains why Gannon's blood might be in the garage. Despite police never releasing that information.

I wouldn't quite say 'into' because it's someone's life not a movie. The ones that especially upset me and I've followed with interest.

I can't believe the Delphi one hasn't been solved either, I mean they have a picture of him for goodness sake. Urgh his voice gives me the creeps.

I am on Websleuths! I sometimes find the rules a bit too strict... then I visit some of the true crime FB groups I'm in and it makes me appreciate Websleuths much more!

Re: the Delphi Murders - a man claimed last week his brother, who is currently in prison for another crime, did it. He's been posting online about it because he says the police weren't taking it seriously.

Oh interesting, let's hope that is him.

@BumbleBeee69 Websleuths is a good forum for factual updates, but posters do tend to witter on/be a bit precious about their theories.

The Claudia Lawrence case seems to have gone cold. A journalist was ‘warned off’ for asking questions, and the police have faced a wall of silence.

Always found the murder of James Bulger and subsequent trial interesting. The public reaction has remained as newsworthy as the killing itself over the years. David James Smith wrote a very interesting book about the murderers and their trial called The Sleep of Reason which is well worth a read. There are so many! Current has to be Claudia Lawrence - there seems to be so much more than meets the eye here.

Lots of previous unsolved, especially Jon Benet Ramsey - she was so young and so small... 😢
