Cape Verde??

Has anyone been? I've been trying to find a nice holiday for me, dh, dd13 and DS 16 and DS has found a lovely looking resort in Cape Verde - anyone been? Any advice?

My sister went and loved it. She wanted to go again with me and my kids but after I looked into it I decided against it as it’s really deserted and not much to do outside of the hotel and I imagine I would get bored just hanging around the hotel. So depends if that’s your kind of thing or not. We Are going Canary Islands instead
