How has everyone’s half term been?

Well the weather has been rubbish which has been limiting sadly but overall it has been good and actually it has been nice to be home more than usual in the holidays. Have completely reorganised DS' room to make it more grown up and it looks fab now. Been to IKEA and painted the downstairs loo so the house is looking much smarter than it was. DS has really enjoyed just having time to play with his toys too.

Yeah the weather has been rubbish here too. Went to the cinema and trampoline park.

A bit dull. My dc have been playing out, in between the storms, in the street with their friends. All good for them but boring for me because I can't just to my own thing as I feel like I have to sit by the window and keep an ear out for them! We've no money either so can't really take them out anywhere just to ease my boredom.

Only really one day for mid term as we had appointments etc but we had a lovely day out and are going to make the best of the weekend with cinema and make a teddy bears picnic at home etc

Rubbish. I work in a school and every half term I seem to come down with something or other, this week it’s been a fever, sore throat and now a full blown cold. I had been looking forward to spending some quality time with teenage DS but I’ve felt so poorly plus I’ve been trying to catch up with my uni work, so he has just been on his PlayStation most of the week (he hasn’t complained though!) Hey ho, back to work on Monday.
