Should I eat the cheese?!

So I left a block of cheese out on the side last night. Just normal cheddar, completely sealed. Will it be safe to eat it today?

It's cheese. You know, preserved milk. The clue is the word preserved. Cheddar is left in ripening rooms for months before you buy it ...well the decent stuff is.
What do you think could go wrong with it?

People were eating cheese long before fridges were invented and presumably lived to eat some more!

Mumdiva99 · 21/02/2020 11:53

Cheese is actually better left out. Just doesn't keep so long.

jackstini · 21/02/2020 11:59

No - let me have it! Grin

louloubelleme · 21/02/2020 12:17

Thanks everyone! Common sense was telling me to eat it but I can't afford to get ill! So was weighing it up! Cheese is currently getting cut ready to go on some toast Grin
