I ignored every single one of the GDPR emails telling me that if I didn't sign up to their marketing list they would never be able to email me again.
Every time I buy something online, I carefully select the correct option to not sign up to marketing emails.
And yet I am now getting more marketing emails than ever, even from companies that I've never bought anything from, but may have looked at the website. Anyone else?
Isn't this illegal as we were all told when GDPR was a thing? I'd be surprised if so many big companies would blatantly break the law like this, so they must have found a way around it? Is it hidden in all those bloody cookies messages that I accept without reading?
But that must mean that the 'I want lots of spam from you' is pre ticked and I'm pretty certain they were only supposed to email people who knowingly ticked a box giving consent? Grr
