Help please... I really need a new career!

Please help. I'm so STUCK.

About me: 35, 2 kids, graduated with a First from an Education degree (non teaching). Worked in schools for the past 4 years as student support officer/mentor/dsp/attendance. Before that just SAHM, before that pub work. I've hardly got any work experience for my age thanks to the kids.

I now accept school life isn't for me- it's emotionally draining me. I chose it because the hours work around the kids but I need to do more. I can't afford to do another degree, although I can do a masters if need be as there's postgraduate loans available. But what in? I want a new career that I can commit to.

I like to feel useful- charity work etc appeals to me. I have contamination OCD so can't do anything in the health sector. I have a strong work ethic and want to really give something a go. But what!

Help please.

Wish I knew - can you not transfer your skills to student support in the university sector?
Museum education would require further degree I assume and not sure how many jobs are out there.
I keep seeing the civil service on questions like these but not seen jobs myself (but I am stuck as I can only do term time school hours).
Police - CPSO? but you need to do shifts and weekends.
Health education?

Thank you for the ideas. I'll have a look at the civil service- not sure what they offer where I live. I'd love a university job but they're scarce.
