A smart watch without a heart rate sensor?

I want a watch (not too big) that does steps, bit I'm mostly interested in phone type functions - reading texts when my phone is on silent/ calls etc. I don't want the flashing lights this time though. Does anything like this exist?

Samsung galaxy will do that

I have a Nokia Steel, I really like it. It tracks sleep and steps, but looks like a traditional watch

Withings Steel Watch, Unisex Adult, White, 36 mm https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0716S22WB/ref=cmswwrcppapiii_beVtEbHAFH9JQ

I love my Nokia steel HR (now withings again), though the HR version has heart rate. It looks like a watch and I love it.

You can turn that off on most smart watches

The step monitor is done by way of your arm movements. That's why it's on your arm.

I love the fact that I can do helicopter movements in my lounge and up my steps to show everyone else how great I am.

Thank you, I’ll look into these. I was thinking of trying to turn it off on the fitbit, but the back is so bulky anyway that I want an alternative.
