I'm thinking of applying for a position in Qatar (in education) but am concerned by the number of very negative comments on the current thread about Dubai.
I know very little about Qatar, but get the impression that their position on women's rights is a little better than the UAE. I'm female, 40s, single, childless, straight.
Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated, both in terms of culture and also more practical things such as climate. Thank you.
(Also, if anyone has made the move and taken their pet/s with them, how complicated was that to organise?)
