Moving to York

Hello, we're moving to York and I'm looking at schools for my children (currently in Yr3 and YrR). Does anyone have any advice on which are lovely or terrible? I'm interested in personal experience of how kind/supportive/welcoming the school is rather than accademic performance. Thank you.

No advice but if your on Facebook join York mumbler and ask on there, you should get lots of replies.

York schools are based largely in where you live (as most schools are in England- distance is over subscription criteria) . Where will you be living?

We're moving in August and don't yet know where we'll live. We will rent for the first year and were thinking of choosing a rental location based on our pick of schools.
