Thinking about buying a Shark hoover....

Just wondering which model, and whether there are any offers on at the moment?

We have a cockapoo (which don't shed horrendously)
We have stairs
We have carpets and hard floors

Anyone got any thoughts?
Thank you!

I’m tempted by a Shark too. I like the idea of the hair guard.

You mean one of these? (Sorry.)

We have the Shark Corded Stick great on carpets and hard floors. No pets in output home but we have pets that visit & no issues.

Much better than our previous Vax or Dyson

We love ours. We have a duoclean lift away one. Brilliant for carpets and stairs, not quite as good on hard floors, but definitely not bad. I won't buy another non corded vacuum after our expensive Dyson disaster.

I have the shark duo, and 2 labradors. I love my shark, it totally changed my days. It is fab on pet hairs. We also have wood and carpet/rugs.

I have this one (although I paid significantly less for it about 14 months ago!)
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HBZH8ZC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?psc=1&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&ie=UTF8

Love it! It's flexible (literally, so great for vacuuming under furniture), easy to change configuration, light, & has a very long cord. The only drawback - which I consider a ver minor one - is that the dust container is on the small side. But I prefer emptying it to having a larger, heavier and generally more cumbersome appliance to lug around. Great on carpets and hard floors.

I have a Shark Corded Duoclean Powered Lift Away. It's great. Would def recommend. Get the powered lift away version though so you dont lose suction. It was about £199 from Argos a few months ago. The more expensive models that were on offer didn't have such good reviews. It also has the hair separator so no hairs get trapped in the brush bar. It excels our previous Dyson by miles!

Thanks all, just about to order either the powered duoclean with liftaway anti hair wrap and pet hair £249. The XL is same price without but without the pet hair function.

So AZ910UKT versus AZ950UK?

Any thoughts....?

@skeemee - apologies for resurrecting your 4 month old thread but I am at the same stage now - considering which of the Shark corded models to buy.

Can you tell me - which one did you get (if any) and how have you found it?
