I'm so happy-new teeth

For years I have hated my teeth and always been conscious of covering my mouth when talking or laughing.

Well today I went and had a consultation about getting my teeth improved.

The dentist was lovely and so positive and has given me a plan.

I have a lot of treatment but I feel overjoyed at knowing I am finally going to be able to smile without worrying I'm being judged.

I will be able to laugh without putting my hand over my mouth.

It's not going to be pleasant and will cost a fair bit of money but I am so happy.

Please anyone who has the same worries go and see a kind dentist and get a plan in place.

I do not have a huge amount of money so my work will be done over time whilst I save/cut back on other things but you know what the time passes anyway so why not let it pass with a long term goal in place.

Sorry I am being cheesy but I'm just so happy right now .

Good for you OP, what will you be having done?

Friendly reminder to shop around/get a second opinion. Costs can really vary from practice to practice and there are many cheaper options such as composite bonding, clear 'braces' that not all practices offer. Worth doing if it's something you're having to really find the money for!

I am being referred to an orthodontist via the NHS about an adult tooth that never came in, I have a bridge I at present but hopeful they can operate and get the tooth down.

Also my silver filings changed to white, the same with a silver crown too.

And then braces to correct squint teeth.

I trust my dentist and feel they are offering a great service and average prices so plan to stay and complete the treatment.

I have small children and all that comes with having children cost wise so have always put off doing anything but feel that I deserve healthy nice teeth.
