I was reading a read article about a man who was convicted of punching another man who sadly later died. But this is what caught my eye:
^The attack, on September 1 last year in the Golden Last pub, was seen by a witness wearing “spy cam glasses” he’d bought on eBay.
He later spoke to police, who downloaded the footage.
The witness, who wished to remain anonymous, said: “I was wearing my glasses with a video camera, microphone and SD cards. Next thing, it kicked off, so I clicked ‘record’ and just filmed it.
“I can film anything I like in a public place just like anyone can on their mobile phone.
“I bought them for £7 off eBay. I typed in ‘spy cam glasses’ and got them from China.”
The devices can record up to five hours of footage.^
‘Spy glasses’ - so they look like ordinary spect but you can record up to 5 hours with them? Oh they won’t be used by
voyeurs or peeping toms at all will they?
So any chap walking through the changing areas could theoretically ‘accidentally’ open a curtain when you are getting changes? Or watch you as you go up the escalators and peek up your skirt (at the right angle)? Or drop a knife in a restaurant and pop his head under the table to retrieve it?
I thought amazon had pulled these spy cameras after being called out for them being out in ladies loos?
(Of course women can use these too).
