Posting in chat for traffic.

We went to Butlins Bognor for a mid week break last year and as a family we had a great time (surprisingly). We went in school term time so it was a fairly cheap mid week break and was very good value for money.

We are now considering doing a week at Butlins or Haven this school summer holdays but I can't decide between the two, or which resort.

At Butlins Bognor my son loved the slides and rapids at the pool, football sessions, mini golf, bowling and throwing some moves at the nightly discos Grin.

For me I just want clean accommodationSmile

Would appreciate any thoughts and park recommendations from those who have visited Butlins or Haven in the last year or two with a child in the same age range.

Butlins and Haven are both good, if you go to the right camps. Butlins has much more on offer, and a lot better choice of activities, for example, free fair rides, better entertainment, sports stuff, Redcoats on hand to entertain the kids etc. At Butlins we’re normally rushing here there and everywhere with the kids, but they love it. Haven is great for a gentler, less commercial experience and I like Haven for when we're camping - especially the camps in Burnham-on-Sea and Weymouth.
Basically, you'll have a good time at both, but it depends what you're looking for out of a holiday. With Butlins, even if the weather's crappy, there's plenty to keep the kids amused....
