Good evening,

I am looking for ideas of things I can do to make a difference to other people’s lives.

So far I:

Donate to a food bank every week as I shop. I have a list of things my local food bank need and try to buy on rotation if I can. If I get a Morrison’s £5 loyalty card voucher or a club card voucher, I use it all to buy items for the foodbank.

Use my boots advantage card points to buy toiletries and send them to @thebeautybanks for homeless people (postage payable)

Buy and donate new pants (women’s and children’s) for my local women’s aid refuges, which can be donated via a local shop.

Donate outgrown and unwanted good condition children’s shoes to Sal’s Shoes charity (postage payable, plus £1 donation per pair of shoes if you can)

Donate my used stamps to a charity like Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Write and send Postcards of Kindness (see Facebook page) to different care homes around the country to help to combat loneliness and isolation.

What else can I do?

Volunteer! Loads of opportunities, just pick a cause.
