Is there a virus doing the rounds that makes you feel sick without being sick?

I feel like I had slightly too much to drink last night but I really didn't and it's been going on for 3 days now.

Yes I think so! DD had two days off last week (unusual for her) because she felt tired, sick, and was barely eating. Not actually sick though, and no fever as far as I could tell. DH also had a day ot two of feeling sick. Both on the mend now but DD has been pretty wiped our by this weird non-illness.

Yeah had the same about 2 weeks ago, felt nauseous as hell. For about 5 days on and off mine lasted. Had no energy and no appetite either.

@Newyearsameoldme2020 how much longer did it last for you? X

Chatterboxy · 11/11/2023 18:29

Yes, definitely. We ate a takeaway curry & shared a bottle of wine, thought initially it was a dodgy curry but DH felt fine, lasted about 3 days!

Zombie thread

Yes, last night was particularly awful for me and I feel rotten today. Tested for covid this morning and it was positive so that clears it up but the only real symptoms I'm having are intense dizziness, very tired, trouble regulating whether I'm too hot or too cold and feel generally utterly grim really. No symptoms of a cold at all though.

I usually get hit like this when DD and DH get a vomiting bug, I get the nausea and feel awful but nothing comes up.
