Had a DX of early invasive ductal carcinoma two weeks ago and was told I need a lumpectomy followed by radiotherapy. Unlikely to need chemo.
Because I'm quite big boobed, and the location of the cells my surgeon is going to do the lumpectomy. Then basically give me a reduction and lift on my affected boob, then after radiotherapy he will do the same on the other boob so they match.
Can anybody share their experience of this procedure as I'm very nervous and don't know what to expect. Thank you x
