How do you spend a cosy night in when the weather is grim?

We've been in all day except brief dog walks, same last weekend and we're so bored!

Tonight we cooked and played a board game. Last night was a Valentine's takeaway and Netflix film. Need to get out tomorrow!

No DCs here to keep entertained, but cooking a nice dinner - something like homemade curry with sides, or pizza from scratch. Fire on and something good on TV. Tonight I'm getting into bed with an interesting book and clean sheets (and try and keep away from scrolling on my phone)

Soda.
Duvet.
Wine.

Wine, woolen National trust blanket, tv

Usually cook a massive dinner like a roast or something hearty along with a dessert beforehand

DH and I love our cosy nights in at the weekend! We put our comfies on, share a bottle of red wine, put something funny on the tv and cook something that's easy but tasty (and a bit naughty - think ribs, mac n cheese, pizza, etc)

Just lay about on the settee under a blanket on comfy clothes watching tv like on any other night.
