My great great grandad died in 1910. This is on his death certificate. Can you help me work out what he died of? He died early at 54.

Suppurative cholangitis? I think the diagnosis goes over 2 lines. AT first thought it might be cholera, but which country did he die in?

Yep, definitely suppurative cholecystitis - infection of the gallbladder. Nowadays would be treated with antibiotics followed by removal of the gallbladder once the infection had settled down.
