Ikea matresses fault

We bought our memory foam mattress in 2012 with a 25 year guarantee attached.

7 and a bit years on its knackered and nothing like it used to be.

Husband and I suffer from back problems and it seems to have stenmed from the sheer softness of the matress as opposed to what it was when we bought it.

We followed advice and its been regularly turned and rotated over the years and no pressure inflicted on it other than us.

Called ikea who could find my order from 2012 and they are sending someone out to do a survey. The company is called Ecomaster.

They have said if there is a manufacturing fault, we will be refunded the price we paid. Only we no longer have our receipt and have no idea how much we paid. I know it was approx £500-£600.

The chap said they cant find cost details from 2012.

So... has anyone had a matress "fail" and be assessed? And surely they will have a record SOMEWHERE of the retail cost of an item?

I've found an uploaded version of their 2012 catalogue and our matress but the prices are in dollars.

Any help gratefully received.

You can literally push the matress flat with 1 hand. Surely a full memory foam matress shouldn't allow this? Even after 7 years.
