Camembert Q...

Found a camembert at the back of the fridge with a bbe date of 5 Feb...

Now, I'm ashamed that it has been missed like this, stuffed behind various other bits, as baked camembert is the dog's bollocks in my opinion...I assumed DD had eaten it but here it is!Grin

Should be ok to bake and eat shouldn't it?!

absolutely fine

Fannia · 14/02/2020 16:57

I 'd say it's matured.

MrsTWH · 14/02/2020 17:26

I’d eat it!

Probably not even ripe yet, dates on that sort of cheese are ridiculous. I bought some reduced brie from m&s and it was about 2 weeks out of date when I ate it and I could have let it go a week or two longer.

We remembered we had one after Christmas, it was about 12 days after the BB date. We had it and it was fine!

AdaColeman · 14/02/2020 17:58

It will be fine, just nicely ripened by now! Wine

Yum, I’d eat it too

I’m amazed you couldn’t smell it! I would definitely have it in the oven baking by now :) Will you please post a picture so I can drool at it?
