Not a rat. A rat walks through our garden from time to time. It does not look like that. I wish it did. Because then it would be a vole.

LittleDragonGirl · 14/02/2020 11:05

Absolutely positive that is not a rat (I see them almost daily).

It's a vole.

puds11 · 14/02/2020 11:07

It doesn't like a rat, no, however there will be rats. Rats are everywhere.

Nowayorhighway · 14/02/2020 11:10

Looks absolutely nothing like a rat.

WestCovina · 14/02/2020 11:11

I’ve had over 20 pet rats in my life, it’s definitely not a rat!

Cosmos45 · 14/02/2020 11:12

That is definitely not a rat.

AmazingGreats · 14/02/2020 11:12

I absolutely love the lots of you! Thank you, I told him it was not a rat but he wouldn't believe me

I did think it was a mouse though and couldn't work out why it had such a short tail

@trianglular There are definitely rats, we caught one the size of a cat in the garage last week (which is why I was convinced this wasn't a rat)

redwoodmazza · 14/02/2020 12:49

No - NOT a rat!

Somanysocks · 14/02/2020 13:45

It's not a rat, and please don't kill it.

Jocasta2018 · 14/02/2020 14:02

It's a rather adorable looking vole!
Although the auto-spell on my phone wanted to put 'vile' instead....

bloodywhitecat · 14/02/2020 14:23

The vole is fine, and more than welcome to return.

5zeds · 16/02/2020 07:43

Why is a bless fine and a rat not?

bloodywhitecat · 16/02/2020 19:57

Why is a bless fine and a rat not?

Because rats chew through the electrics in the garage and bugger up the freezer and voles don't.
