Tips for holiday with 2 under 2!

Just booked first holiday for me, DH, DD 2yrs add DD 6mths. It's a 4 hour flight, short car ride. We've got a pool, playground and beach nearby. It will be warm but not scorching hot. It's basic accomodation with simple cooking equipment but restaurants nearby. Give me all your best tips - travel, organising, kit we'll need. I'm a 'family holiday novice' so any and all advice very welcome!

Bring toys from home (and a couple of cheap new ones) for the accommodation. Although we don't spend much time in the accommodation, children do get bored when they are there, so it's handy to have some things to keep them entertained.

We bring lots of snacks from home for the accommodation - tubes of Pringles, ice poles, fruit bars etc. I know you can buy stuff when you are there, but prices can be much more expensive.

Floats and toys for the pool.
A lightweight stroller
Plenty of suncream

We used to go for villas with pools when our two were little as its easier to keep an eye on them compared to if you are at the beach or a hotel pool, and all your stuff is nearby.

I bet there will be a market or something where you can get fresh fruit and veg for meals and snacks. If you have a car, find a big supermarket to stock up with basics.
