Any dog people here?

A friend of mine has two Border terriers, both adult. I want to buy my friend two dog collars / id tags/ leads etc for his dogs. I have found the collar I want to buy, but I am not sure which size to get.

I have never had a dog before and I don't want to ask my friend which size to get as I am sending this to him as a suprise. I have included a pic as a size guide if anyone can help?

I’d get medium .

I would say small. They’ll probably need to let it out quite a bit but it’s much safer to have a smaller size collar let out to the loosest than a too big one that’s loose even on the tightest setting.

Our border terrier was defo a medium. Although they do come in a variety of sizes and they necks can be an odd shape. But even when he'd been stripped and had less fur he was a medium

Having said that looking again at the sizes I'd be tempted to get a small. Sorry for the pretty unhelpful response
