Any pilots or cabin crew around?

I'm should be flying Southampton to Manchester on Saturday and the forecast is terrible with 45mph winds at Southampton airport.... what are the chances of my flight being cancelled? Weather forecast in Manchester is not too bad in terms of wind speed.

Hi I’d say it’s unlikely to be cancelled, I’ve flown in much worse. Ex cabin crew. Just buckle up it’s a short flight, you’ll be fine.

I would imagine there is more than one runway at Southampton airport? As long as it isn't crosswinds, it'll be fine, and even if it is, it may well be fine.
