Is it normal not to fancy anyone?

Been single for a year and my god I don't fancy anyone! If I'm out I don't see anyone I fancy at all! I feel asexual!

Is it just that you never see anyone 'hot' that you fancy?
It's like that in my home town, blokes my age look pretty crap.
If I go out in London I see lots and lots of guys I fancy!

Maybe you're just preoccupied with other things?

Fallsballs · 13/02/2020 14:03

I would pass out if I saw a bloke I fancied in my town. Makes being single easy but kinda disappointing.

You have to get to know someone before you can fancy them, surely? Not just some random off the street?

Frownette · 13/02/2020 16:43

It's fine not to fancy anyone for a while.

I have my crush nearby but I was worn out today as I was up all night with poorly elderly mother, so didn't smile or stop to chat. He noticed something was wrong and asked me about my mother.

I'll have a little flirt again when I've got more energy!

I think I'm too fussy too!!!!!

Mintjulia · 13/02/2020 16:57

I know how you feel. You are just fussy, that’s all.

I haven’t met anyone I want to date in ages. The problems seem to be I don’t like being lied to and I don’t want someone who gets so drunk he can’t stand.
I don’t think that’s unreasonable, but they seem few and far between Confused

I fancy men but they are usually taken, in their 30s (im 49) or wouldnt consider me in that light.
