So I’m in the middle of rewatching ER on dvd, a friend dropped by earlier and saw it and we started reminiscing about the school days where I was literally the only one that loved George clooney whilst everyone else was either obsessed with tom cruise or brad Pitt. I’ve always been a George clooney fan since I saw him on ER and I’ve rolled his career and own all of his DVDs. Definitely my hot older guy fantasy 😂
So I’m putting it to you my fellow mnetters ..... who was your fave?

I'm going to show my age.

I quite liked George when he was the factory manager on Rosanne.

Tom Cruise - always up himself. I wish Netflix and other film / tv providers would make a way to search for films without an actor.

I loved Top Gun, was at college age it cams our.

Did you really, can you name the actor/charcer who turned up in ER?

puds11 · 11/02/2020 05:43

Tom Cruise is gross. Always Clooney. He’s dreamy.

puds11 · 11/02/2020 05:45

@sashh I’m not even a Top Gun fan and I could name them Grin

GeorgiaGirl52 · 11/02/2020 05:46

No to Tom and Brad. George got better with age. He's great now!
Colin Firth, Adrian Paul, Peter Wingfield raised my temperature.

vampirethriller · 11/02/2020 06:16

Hmm.
George Clooney if it's in From Dusk til Dawn.
Brad Pitt if it's World War Z.
Otherwise, none, I'm team Keanu.

RuffleCrow · 11/02/2020 06:26

Brad Pitt is just a work of art - i always feel like i should be walking round him, appraising him in a gallery! Perfection. Or like Phoebe in Friends, raising my eyes to heaven and saying "well done!"

Clooney gets hotter with age.

Tom Cruise is just creepy.

BorneoBabe · 11/02/2020 06:27

Huge ER fan, but Clooney has always struck me as a 'bros before hoes' man-child type. Even now with Amal and the kids.

I love how much Tom Cruise cares about giving his audience the best movie experience possible. But, you know, he's a crazy control freak and a shit dad.

Pre-dumping Jen, Brad seemed the most normal. He was always in a long term relationship. None of his exes had a bad word to say about him. Close to his family. Unlike the other two, he's become a better actor. And let's not forget the matching hair... Grin

Tom cruise, brad Pitt, George clooney?
InfiniteSheldon · 11/02/2020 06:44

Just coming on to say young Mel Gibson and seen Limp has already bagged him Angry AngryAngry

HelloCanYouHearMe · 11/02/2020 06:54

@sashh Rick Rossovich and Michael Ironside appeared in both, didn't they?

EasyLifer · 11/02/2020 07:08

Brad then Tom then George.

I loved Top Gun, for me the hotty in that was Val Kilmer, sadly he hasn't aged well!

Sparklingbrook · 11/02/2020 07:28

Never saw the attraction of George Clooney. Tom Cruise is a bit creepy.
So it would have to be Brad Pitt but all this is irrelevant because for me it will always be Rob Lowe.

RightestPersonOnMN · 11/02/2020 07:30

Clooney out of those three but Kovac was my ER crush.

Sorry about my middle of the night typos, @sashh, I was indeed at college when Top Gun came out. I never got into ER, I’ve just looked up when it came out and we didn’t have a TV then (no TV from 1990-1996) wasn’t living in the UK in the late 90s.

For about a year after Top Gun came out groups of boys I knew would sing ‘You’ve lost that loving feeling’ to girls. I was definitely the right age. Would you like me to talk you through what big fans of 9 ½ weeks got up to?

joffreyscoffees · 11/02/2020 07:42

Definitely George Clooney, but Brad is a very close second.

LizziesTwin · 11/02/2020 07:44

@Sparklingbrook I’ve name changed a few times, one of my friends has a son in the same year & class at school as Rob Lowe in Santa Barbara and she reported that Mr Lowe was very easy on the eye at school concerts.

JoyceDivision · 11/02/2020 08:03

It's a shame John Travolta has gone down Scientology route with his weave as he was beautiful!

BlueEyedFloozy · 11/02/2020 08:10

George everytime!
Tom Cruise does nothing for me, never has.
Brad Pitt is a bit, meh really.

AzraiL · 11/02/2020 08:12

John Stamos

ILikeyourHairyHands · 11/02/2020 08:12

You can keep them all. Keanu's always had my heart.

EverSeenTheQueen · 11/02/2020 08:13

Agree @boatyardblues!

TildaKauskumholm · 11/02/2020 08:15

Clooney I suppose if I had to choose but none of them really! There are many other gorgeous men out there, eg Rufus Sewell.

BertieDrapper · 11/02/2020 08:24

Out of the three mentioned it would be Brad Pitt.... he was so yummy.

But no one had mentioned Patrick Swayze. I used to watch Dirty Dancing all the time as a kid, such a good looking man.

Also always like Richard Geere.... even now.... and I'm only 34 Blush

Standrewsschool · 11/02/2020 08:32

It was always Mel Gibson for me also.

Bloomburger · 11/02/2020 08:38

Rob the Knob Lowe.

He's still beautiful now.
